The Mayan Calendar, the Book of Revelations in the Bible and others are hot topics for the times. Either you dismiss them entirely, or they scare the beejeebis out of you, or you attempt to look at them from a different perspective.
What is prophecy? Is it physical or symbolic or both? How can vision help to get past a literal interpretation to a deeper spiritual understanding of what lies behind physical events and experiences? What are they teaching?
Prophecy without vision and understanding can often be quite frightening. Also it can come from a very active, even volatile mind that needs to be grounded in spirit. Vision can be more reassuring as it begins to see beyond physical life and events. Teaching brings you to the lessons behind the events and to a much greater understanding. These three work better together than separately.
In this session we will explore the myth, metaphor and monster of prophecies pertaining to this time, with a goal of trying to understand the messages and teachings that lie behind them
